Egg Puffs
Ingredients and Measurements Needed
- 3 -4 nos- Eggs
- 1 Onion
- 1-2 Green chilies(optional)
- Ginger
- 2 tsp oil
- salt as required
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- Puff pastry(ready made)
Method
- Boil the eggs .
- Remove the shell and cut it into half and sprinkle some crushed pepper on top of it and keep it aside.
- Clean and slice the onion and cut ginger and green chilies into small pieces.
- Now heat a pan and add oil into it.
- When the oil is hot ,add the cut onions ,ginger and green chilies .
- Add some salt.
- Mix well and saute until the onions are transparent.
- Add turmeric powder roast for 2 minutes
- Add coriander powder roast for 1 minute.(Always keep the flame in simmer/low while adding dry masala powders)
- Cook for 2 more minutes and masala for our egg puffs are ready.
- Turn off the flame and keep it aside as well.
- Now cut the puff pastry sheet into four pieces(or as desirable)
- Then take a spoonful of masala and put in the middle of the each puff pastry sheet.
- Now place the half egg piece on top the masala.
- After that fold the sheets as shown in the picture.

- Do this for all the egg pieces.
- I got 8 nos puffs with this amount of ingredients.
- Now take a baking tray and arrange the puffs in it.
- Beat 1 egg to make egg wash.
- Brush the puffs with egg wash(This will give a shining to our puffs)
- Pre heat the oven for 5 minute at 150 degree Celsius.
- Bake the puffs in the oven for 20 minutes at 150 degree Celsius until the top of it turns golden brown.
- Check after 10 minutes.
- After 15 minutes
- After 20 minutes.
- Easy and Yummy egg puffs are ready.
- Let it cool and then serve .
