Ingredients and Measurements Needed
- 2 cup- Flattered rice/Aval
- 1 table spoon-Sesame seeds(black)
- 1 cup-Grated Jaggery
- 1 cup-Grated Coconut
- 1tsp-Ghee(optional)
- Roast the sesame seeds in ghee in a pan and keep it aside but it's optional we can use it without roasting also.
- Melt jaggery with 1/2 cup water until it becomes slightly thick.
- Strain the melted jaggery mixture into a pan.
- Now heat the pan and add grated coconut into it.
- When the mixture starts to bubble/boil,add the flattered rice into it and mix well using a spatula .
- Now turn off the heat.
- Then add the sesame seeds and ghee mix well.
- Transfer the prepared snack into a serving plate.
- Serve with ripened banana slices(optional).
